China Network May 29 (Reporter Meng Chao) On March 7, 2014, General Secretary of the Supreme Leader, when attending the deliberation of the Guizhou delegation of the National People’s Congress and the National People’s Congress, proposed that Wang Yangming had studied in Guizhou and realized Taoism. Guizhou has unique advantages in promoting traditional culture, and hopes to continue in-depth discussion, in-depth excavation and create new experiences.
Wang Yangming’s theory of "harmony between man and nature, unity of knowledge and action" is the cultural spirit of Guizhou.
Xiuwen county is the place where Wang Yangming learned Taoism in Guizhou.
Xiuwen, named Longchang in ancient times, means "putting off military preparations and cultivating culture and education".
Yangming culture’s unity of knowing and doing.
500 years ago, Wang Yangming, a great scholar, lived in Longchang, Guizhou, where he realized the famous theories of "mind is reason" and "unity of knowledge and action" and laid the foundation for the later theory of "to conscience".
China Yangming Cultural Park, located in the northeast of xiuwen county, is one of the eight scenic spots in Guiyang.
Yangming Cave is the place where Wang Yangming, a thinker, philosopher and educator in Ming Dynasty, read books, realized enlightenment and gave lectures. It is also the birthplace and spreading place of Yangming culture and is known as the first philosophical cave in China. In 2006, it was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Yangming Cultural Park in China, which is built around the ancient site of Yangming Cave, is listed as one of the 10 cultural industrial parks in Guizhou Province, one of the 100 urban complexes in Guizhou Province, and the base of Guiyang’s publicity.
Yangming Cave has preserved ancient buildings such as Longgang Academy, Helouxuan, Gentleman Pavilion and Binyang Hall in Qing Dynasty, as well as a large number of rock carvings left by celebrities such as Chiang Kai-shek.
Yangming Cave was also the earliest prison place of patriotic general Zhang Xueliang. He was imprisoned here for three years, and then he was transferred to Guiyang for treatment because of illness and left to study. There is a Zhang Xueliang exhibition hall in Yangming Cave, which has been listed as a patriotic education base.
Yangming culture is regarded as a key cultural business card in Guizhou Province and Guiyang City, and "unity of knowing and doing" is an important content of Guizhou humanistic spirit.
The Guiyang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government put forward the strategic model of "three-legged tripod building" to build the Guiyang Spiritual Building, and the strategic positioning of Xiuwen is "Yangming’s Holy Land of Mind Learning".
Get demoted and enlightened into the holy way.
In October of the first year of Ming Zhengde (1506), Wang Yangming angered eunuch Liu Jin by rescuing Dai Xi and other officials, and was sentenced to prison by Liu Jin. He was sentenced to 40 days’ imprisonment, and once died and recovered, but he survived and sought to be relegated to the Dragon Field. The demotion to the official Dragon Field was the biggest disaster in Yangming’s bumpy life, and it was also the great cause for him to realize the way of being a saint. During his three years in Guizhou, Yangming traversed all kinds of sufferings and suffered endless torture, but he realized Taoism in Guizhou and founded his own unique system of mind.

Guichang is one of the kiwifruit varieties in Guizhou Xiuwen. "Xiuwen Kiwifruit" is one of xiuwen county’s "three business cards". Xiuwen county is rich in wild kiwifruit resources, and local farmers have always had the traditional habit of transplanting and eating wild kiwifruit. At present, the county has planted 167,000 mu of kiwifruit, ranking fourth in the country. Adhering to the development strategy of big data in Guizhou Province, xiuwen county has bordered the kiwifruit industry with big data, and established two platforms: the big data Internet of Things traceability system cloud platform and xiuwen county kiwifruit science park. Through technical assistance, financial assistance, industry promotion and standardization promotion, tens of thousands of people have been driven out of poverty and become rich. The kiwi fruit juice produced by Xiuwen has become the product selected for the 2018 Expo, and its delicious and nutritious taste has won endless praise from domestic and foreign guests.
